Cozy Up your Home for Fall

Fall’s palette
First of all, choose a basic color pattern to use throughout the house to create a consistent theme. It will probably be challenging to decide on just one that works in almost any room in the house, but this will make the process of decorating simpler and less expensive. Fall is the time for warm, rich and cozy colors. We all know the traditional ones: red, orange, yellow and even dark greens. But don’t limit yourself to that! Go for hues of golden yellow, burnt orange, lipstick red, asparagus green, chocolate brown, burgundy or aubergine. However, be careful not to go color crazy; if your furniture is already any of these bold colors, it is better to stick to soft golden or tan shades as well as creamy tones on the walls and accessories.
Make it cozy with “accentssories”
The next step would be to add fall-evocative accessories in accent colors which will depend on the existing walls and furniture. Try mixing neutral colors to create an intimate and cozy aura and include colored lampshades and picture frames that complement the rest of the room is the easiest space to decorate, and with CassaDecor’s range of colors from its brand new collections, it will be even easier. Choose from either the Kassasoft Supima towels in “Butter” or the Hotel collection in “Coffee” for a perfect fall pallet. Don’t forget to complement with a bath rug, another painful decision with so many choices like “Prune” in the Sublime collection and “Cayenne” in the Elegance collection.

Warm up your house with the scents of fall, such as cinnamon and apple, including candles that will enrich the mood of the room. Add a touch of nature displaying seasonal flowers throughout the house: pumpkin-orange roses, fire tulips, mango callas and dark purple or burgundy calla lilies are nature’s most chic gift. There’s a wide variety of autumn flowers to choose from and they can also be later on dried and displayed as potpourri. Fruits, nuts and other touches of agriculture can also accent the fall atmosphere; apples, pears, pumpkins, artichokes, pistachio nuts, pine cones and dried leaves can be displayed on a bowl or included in a floral arrangement or centerpiece. Finally, equip your favorite couch with some throw blankets in fall colors so you can cuddle up in a comforting and inviting space.
