Diane Von Furstenberg’s NYC Penthouse
February 17, 2012
One of our favorite ladies of fashion, Diane von Furstenberg, not only showed her NYFW Fall 2012 collection earlier this week, but also had her fabulously furnished penthouse featured in the March issue of Architectural Digest. Acting as both a workspace and a home, her iconic style shines through in the form of bold colors, prints, and patterns.

Floral accents coupled with this table’s tree pedestal and zebra print vintage chairs, give the space a natural feel, while the bold rug and Andy Warhol portrait add a punch of modernity.

Her master bedroom is dramatic to say the least, and continues the exotic, natural theme of the entire space with chic bohemian bedding and structured bamboo pillars. She also incorporates more art with the blue wall- painted by her friend Konstantin Kakanias – to create separation between the bedroom and bathroom.

Step into her bathroom and you’ll find more reflections of nature and art with the honey colored wood, teak bathtub, and unique folding screen.

All elements of her penthouse come together to create a space that is nothing less than what you would expect from the designer - fabulous prints, vibrant color, and of course, modern elegance.
